Private Cathartic Transformational
VIRTUAL
What to expect in a Private Cathartic Transformational BreathWork session via Zoom
The intensity of the experience is unmatched, as you surrender yourself to the rhythmic dance of your breath.
With each open-mouthed inhalation and exhalation, you feel layers of tension melting away.
The central nervous system is reset, creating space for new possibilities to emerge. As suppressed emotions are released and buried traumas come to light, you find yourself feeling lighter, cleaner, and more aligned with your true self.
It's as if a weight has been lifted off your shoulders and you are free to soar higher than ever before in connection with both yourself and something greater than yourself.
We recommend you begin with this type of Transformational Breathwork to rid suppressed emotions prior to scheduling an Elemental Transformational session.
If time allows, please watch the tutorial videos (here) prior to the session.
They are only a few minutes long and depending on how you like to receive your information, these videos and/or reviewing the text below will assist you in preparing for your session.
Preparation for the session
Watch the videos here
Eat as clean as possible at least 48 hours prior to the session. Try to avoid alcohol and recreational drugs as well.
Eat something light about 1.5 hours prior to the session. This type of work is considered active meditation and we want your body focused on the breathwork and not digesting a lot of food.
Identify a space where you have privacy for about 1.5 hours. Let those you live with know what you are doing and that you would like privacy during this time or have them join you!
If you wish to embrace the spiritual aspect of this practice, cleanse the space prior to the session launch. Feel free to watch the video on “Creating a Sacred Space” for tips on how to do this.
Lay out a yoga mat, yoga blanket, bolster, pillows. Any accoutrements you need to be comfortable on your back for about 1 hour ( you can do this on your bed or a yoga mat).
Dress comfortably in yoga clothes, athleisure wear or even your pj’s. Dress in layers and have a wrap or additional blanket handy as temperature may fluctuate.
Have an eye mask ready — this will assist in keeping your eyes closed which will allow you to turn the lease inward and assist in reducing any external distractions.
Check to ensure your equipment is fully charged or plugged in, Ear buds, headphones, laptop, phone — whatever technology you will be using to stream the session.
Set your intention for the session — simply ask yourself “why am I doing this?” And jot down the answer.
Have a journal close by to make note of your session experience. If you have a journaling or meditation practice currently, this will most likely enhance it, if not, this is a great time to start!
